Operators

Skygard

Ownership / jurisdiction: Corporate structure: Skygard Holding AS (org. 932 538 210) -> Skygard AS (org. 930 086 339, Karenslyst alle 10, 0278 Oslo) -> subsidiaries Skygard 1 AS and Skygard 2 AS. Ownership per the 2024 founding press release: Telenor 31.7% (Telenor ASA is majority Norwegian-state-owned), Hafslund 31.7% (wholly owned by Oslo municipality), HitecVision 31.7% (Norwegian private investment firm), Analysys Mason Nordic 5.0% (consultancy) -- but Skygard's own current about page (skygard.no/nb/om-oss, fetched 22 Aug 2026) names only Telenor, Hafslund and HitecVision as owners, omitting Analysys Mason Nordic. Discrepancy not resolved here; on the right-of-reply list. Two or three of the shareholders are Norwegian public-sector entities (state and municipal) -- substantially Norwegian publicly owned, the clearest counterexample in the batch to the pattern found among the other operators. CURRENT BOARD (per skygard.no/nb/om-oss, 22 Aug 2026): Grethe Viksaas (chair, founder and former CEO of Basefarm), Per Sigvald Austrheim, Sunniva Bjørnstad (senior partner, HitecVision), Anders Gulbrandsen. FORMER, at founding (no longer listed): Jannicke Hilland (EVP Infrastructure, Telenor, chaired at founding) and Martin S. Lundby (deputy CEO, Hafslund). LEADERSHIP, corrected 22 Aug 2026: Elise Lindeberg led Skygard from founding until July 2026, when she left to lead a major emergency-preparedness project at Nkom (the Norwegian Communications Authority), the organization she originally came from (reported by Techwatch, 6 July 2026). CEO is now Trond Johannessen, named with contact details on Skygard's own site. Skygard's own website and the Brønnøysund company registry both still list Lindeberg as CEO in places -- normal registry/site lag, not an error on either source's part. Full leadership team (skygard.no/nb/om-oss): Trond Johannessen (CEO), Håvard Lien-Kvareng (CFO), Oscar Thøgersen (CCO), Shipra Kansal (Director Operations), Atle Soma (CTO), Bjørn Almås (CSO).
